Live hints for distance, framing, lighting and head position while you take the photo.
Checks on your phone
Dimensions, file size and framing are checked on your device. Every check shows pass, warning, unknown or fail, with the reason.
Honest cropping
The crop uses only pixels from your own photo. BrainDV does not stretch, pad, retouch faces or replace the background.

Each photo profile lists its dimensions, file limits, known limitations and links to the U.S. Department of State pages it is based on.

What BrainDV does not do
- It does not submit anything to a government website for you.
- It does not retouch faces, generate content or create a synthetic background.
- It cannot decide whether a photo is accepted. Only the relevant authority can.
